Value-Driven Football at the Valencia CF training ground

The Castell de Riba-Roja de Túria was the setting for the launch of the the book "Les cosetes de Roberto Gil, un capità tranquil," an illustrated story tribute to Valencia CF legend, this Tuesday.
Gil played 300 games for the club and won two Fairs Cups and one Copa del Rey.
Valencia CF took part in the event with the attendance of the director general of the VCF Foundation, Teo Swee Wei, and ambassador Ricardo Arias.
Teo Swee Wei said that “To speak of Roberto Gil is to speak of a Valencia CF legend. Today we gather here to pay a well-deserved tribute with the presentation of this book. We return to Riba-Roja de Túria, where you already welcomed us for the celebration of the exhibition dedicated to him, organised by the VCF Foundation's Heritage Department, as well as the Algirós Forum focused on him."

“Les cosetes de Roberto Gil, un capità tranquil” is the work of Josep Franco, with illustrations by Esperança Martínez.
